S:alt Records pull out the stops with three stunning remixes of tracks from Robert Miles' 'Organik' LP. Riton, Alexkid, and Da Lata deliver the goods. The days when you associated the name Robert Miles with techno and trance are long gone, as those of you who have heard the 'Organik' album will know. Influenced by his travels around the world, Miles is now in the more 'left of centre' arena hence the superb choice of eclectic remixes.

First up is Grand Central's Riton, aka Henry Smithson, who applies his future beats theory to 'Pour te Parler' to make it an upbeat groover with searing string snippets underpinned by a ridiculously funky bass.

On 'Wrong' you can hear echoes of Middle Eastern ghazals and suave spy soundtracks melted into one with the excellent Alexkid on the controls.

On 'Release me' Brazilian revivalists Da Lata move to the quieter side of the spectrum, inviting the sounds of the Tabla, Asian strings and some deft beats to the melting pot.
